Details of Participation

Information on how to enter forms part of these Details of Participation and entry is deemed as acceptance of them. No purchase is necessary to enter contest or redeem prizes. Contest commences 19 April 2011 at 9:00am AEST and entries close 31 January 2012 at 11:59pm AEST. Entries not received by that time or not completed in accordance with these Details of Participation will not be eligible to win.

Total Prize: Valued at up to AU$1,015,500. AU$15,500 Guaranteed to be given away in the form of: 3 x AU$2,000 cash, 1 x AU$7,000 cash, and 1 x airfare and accommodation package to the Gold Coast valued at up to AU$2,500. The grand prize winner also has a chance to win AU$1,000,000 cash.

Grand Prize: 1 x grand prize to be given away. Major prize winner to receive 1 x AU$7,000 cash, 1 x airfare and accommodation package for two adults to the Gold Coast valued at up to AU$2,500 and the ability to participate in a game of chance for AU$1,000,000 at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, 3018 Surfers Paradise Blvd (Cnr Markwell Ave) Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217, awarded from drawing on 15 February 2012. Prize winner will be required to be present at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast QLD on 19 April 2012. Should they be unable to attend on this date the promoter will, in its sole discretion, appoint a substitute to take part in the game of chance on the winner's behalf. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state/territory, where relevant. All prize values correct at time of printing.

Minor Prizes: 3 x minor prizes to be given away. Minor prize winners to receive AU$2,000 cash awarded from drawings on 28 June 2011, 13 September 2011 and 30 November 2011. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another item for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state/territory, where relevant. All prize values correct at time of printing.

Who Can Enter: Contest is open to WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham Owners aged 18 years or over who are residents of Australia, Fiji or New Zealand. Employees and/or associates of WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham and the Promoter, Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Pty Ltd ABN 30 090 083 613, are not eligible to win.

How To Enter: Competition can be entered by Owners completing a referral sheet and referring at least one other person with a valid contact number to go in the draw. Owners must return referral sheets by mail/fax/email to the Owner Referral Department or can refer friends and enter online at www.worldmarksp.com/friendsfirst. Owners can also enter when contacted by the Owner Referral Department if the Owner provides at least one referral. Owners will receive at least one entry into the draw for each valid friend referred. If an Owner provides 10 or more referrals over the telephone, when contacted by the Owner Referral Department, an Owner will receive double entries eg: 10 valid referrals provided will give 20 entries. Owners must ensure that they have the consent of persons they are listing as referrals to list them as such. The Promoter has the absolute discretion to deem whether a contact number is valid or not and names and numbers deemed as fictitious or frivolous by the Promoter may be removed at the Promoters discretion and result in a removal of that entry.

Prize Terms & Conditions:

Prize Draws: Prizes guaranteed to be given away by random drawing from all versions of this contest. Odds of winning are based on the actual number of entries received. Entries for each draw must be received by the Promoter seven days prior to drawing dates. Entries not received seven days prior to the draw dates are ineligible to win. All entries received will roll over into subsequent prize draws. Winners will not be excluded from subsequent draws. Neither the Promoter nor any of their agencies or affiliates are responsible for lost, late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete or ineligible entries. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. In the event a draw date falls on a non-business day, the draw will take place on the next business day. Draws and redraws will be conducted at Wyndham Corporate Centre, 1 Corporate Court, Bundall QLD 4217, at 2:00pm AEST on the draw dates. Game of chance to win AUD$1,000,000 will be conducted at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, 3018 Surfers Paradise Blvd (Cnr Markwell Ave) Surfers Paradise, QLD 4217 at 2:00pm AEST on the game of chance dates.

Minor Prize Draws: Minor prizes will be issued in the form of a bank cheque in the name of the winner.

Grand Prize Draw: The 1 x $7,000 cash will be issued in the form of a bank cheque in the name of the winner. 1 x airfare and accommodation package for two adults to the Gold Coast valued at up to $2,500 will be booked by Travel by Wyndham under the winner and nominated travel companion's names and includes return economy airfares to the Gold Coast for two adults departing prize winner's nearest capital city including taxes, transfers and 3 nights apartment accommodation at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Kirra Beach, Corner Coyne Street and Winston Avenue, Kirra Beach North, QLD 4225, (twin share). Meals, spending money and items of a personal nature are not included. Additional transport and transfer costs are not included. Winners will assume responsibility and costs associated with any use of the prize, including but not limited to costs for passports, travel transfers, visas, spending money, items of a personal nature, travel insurance, licensing, taxes and/or duties that may be payable on the prize(s) or in conjunction with the use of the prize(s). Flights, transfers & accommodation are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Prize travel is subject to fare rules and other carriers conditions of carriage. Tickets will not be exchanged for another destination. The Grand Prize Winner and their nominated travel companion cannot upgrade any prize travel or prize accommodation using cash or frequent flyer points and will not accrue frequent flyer points on any prize flights or on any prize accommodation. The Grand Prize Winner and their nominated travel companion must travel together on the same flights and stay together in the same apartment at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Kirra Beach. Prize travel must be taken on the dates nominated by the Promoter which will be between 16 - 22 April 2012 or between 9 -15 July 2012 if a redraw is required. Prize travel may not be changed under any circumstances. If for any reason the Grand Prize Winner cannot travel in accordance with these details of participation and on the flights nominated by the Promoter, or does not take an element of the prize during the stated period, and on the conditions stipulated by the Promoter or any third parties, the relevant component of the prize will be forfeited and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize. Flight schedules and accommodation arrangements are subject to change without notice.

Chance To Win A Million: Winner of the Grand Prize draw or Grand Prize redraw (if applicable) will be asked to choose one of 200 identical bags. Only one of the bags will contain a mock cheque entitling the barer to AU$1,000,000. If the winner selects the bag containing mock cheque for AU$1,000,000 cash, this will be issued in the form of an actual bank cheque and may take up to three (3) months for the winner to receive these funds.

Redraw If any Major and/or Minor prizes are not claimed within three months of final draw, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at Wyndham Corporate Centre, 1 Corporate Court, Bundall QLD 4217,at 2:00pm AEST on 15 May 2012 subject to any written directions given under any state authority gaming Regulations determining who will get a chance to win AU$1,000,000. In the event a redraw is required, the redrawn winner of the Grand Prize will be required to be present at Wyndham Surfers Paradise, 3018 Surfers Paradise Blvd (Cnr Markwell Ave) Surfers Paradise, QLD at 2:00pm AEST on 12 July 2012. Should they be unable to attend on this date the promoter will appoint a proxy to take part in the game of chance on the winner's behalf.

Notification: Winners will be notified in writing by mail (in accordance with the timeframes as determined by the applicable Legislation and Regulations) and contacted by phone or email where possible and all winners names will be published in The Australian newspaper on 06 July 2011, 21 September 2011, 07 December 2011 and 23 February 2012. Winners of redraws will be advised in writing and published in The Australian newspaper on 23 May 2012 (if applicable) and posted on www.wyndhamvrap.com. Promotion: By entering this competition, all prize winners agree to the use of pictures, names and/or statements for future promotional purposes without further payment or consideration. By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of these details of participation to be void or unenforceable.
